As audience members walked in they were asked if they would like to participate. If yes, we cast them in the spot in one of the three new works we were reading that night. We had three original shows from all female playwrights.

"Book Club"' by Alyssa Weinberg

Alyssa Weinberg is a Brooklyn-based playwright with a love for books, board games, and people-watching in the park. Previous work includes"Friendzoned," which won the Bergen County Young Playwrights estival in 2015.

Katherine Hunter is a soon to be graduate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and after immense peer pressure from her friends and family she has reluctantly decided to pursue a career in writing.
