FEMPATHS by Mari Moriarty @ the duplex

A kaleidoscopic cabaret fantasia through trans expression performed by Mari Moriarty. Using found texts from Marsha P Johnson, sexual assault survivors’ rights activist/performance artist Emma Sulkowicz, Kim Petras, 12 y/o transboy Ari Bowman as well as my own works,  Fempaths broadens the understanding of the trans experience as well as expands the narrative of what a trans story can be.  From “heros” to “whores”, Fempaths loudly demonstrates the radically different paths trans people forge in America today. We are never just one thing (and neither is cabaret).
